Jack Skellington #6 Etching
A hand-painted etching inspired by The Nightmare Before Christmas.
The process for these etchings involves the artist scratching a design into a varnished metal plate with an engraving needle. The metal plate is then put into an acid bath which eats away the exposed metal, and then the plate is ready for use on a hand driven printing press. Once the design has been printed on hand-made paper, it is then hand painted with watercolours.
