How are we working with the environment in mind?
Pulse Gallery being an entirely online business means that our carbon footprint is already lower than a typical brick-and-mortar business, however we still want to improve, particularly as we grow.
How did we decide to do this? Well, we now have a subscription with Mossy Earth; a rewilding membership that restores nature and fights climate change. Their multimethod approach aims to ultimately increase carbon sequestration via reforestation, and employ rewilding to improve biodiversity in degraded ecosystems. Basically, plant lots of trees and reintroduce animals to an environment that has seen better days.
In Mossy Earth's own words, 'Carbon offsetting can be used as an excuse for industries to avoid making necessary carbon emission reductions'. We agree, and we wanted to be part of something that's actually making science-led change. We want to help actually make an impact, and by supporting Mossy Earth, we feel we can do that.
