I love making art based on art. To me, it is the ultimate tribute to an artist, to have ones work interpreted. I used to trade paintings with fellow artists, where we would add to what the other person started. This is a tribute to the iconic Wes Archer interpretation of the Marcel Duchamp modernist classic, Nude Descending A Staircase, No. 2.
