Dr Seuss artwork of the Cat in the Hat by Charles Schulz.
These pieces came from the estate of Murray A. Harris, a comic illustrator and collector in Los Angeles who met/knew many of his peers in the 1960s and 1970s. Mr. Harris always stamped the back of each piece he acquired either with his name/address or that of the gallery or museum from which he purchased the art. That includes Charles Schulz's home address when he lived in Sebastopol CA, Ted Geisel's home address in LaJolla, and museums in New York City and elsewhere.
There was also one piece from the Chelsea Hotel in NYC--a famous hangout for artists and musicians in the ‘60s.
