Robert Crumb

Robert Crumb is a Philadelphia born artist who started his career as a commercial greetings card illustrator in 1962. He soon after began travelling all across the states, at first mailing his card illustrations then moving onto his own art in comics. He remains in the South of France where he moved in the 1980s and continues sporadic art along with his wife.

Crumb's art style has been celebrated as much as it has been discussed, with his unique take and view which colours the creations he puts forth.
